The SPRC is happy to announce the new opportunity for an individual to experience the joy of working and guiding young adults in their relationship with Christ. This SCUMC paid staff position has recently become vacant and we want to offer this exciting position to our Church family members first.

Have you thought about finding a way to help young adults become more involved in a spiritual journey to our lord and opening their eyes to the exciting rewards our faith has to offer them?

I would ask you to consider this position as your way to contribute to our church and the future of our young adults. The curriculum has been set for the year and the activities will take only a short time from your schedule, but the rewards will be immense!!!

ADVENTURE CLUB (AC) Director

The Adventure Club (AC) Director will work with tweens in 4-6 grades and their families to provide a meaningful program that will allow them to explore their relationship with Jesus Christ. The program will include but not be limited to: Sunday evening activities and week-end/special activities at least once per quarter.

The AC director will report to the Sr. Pastor and work collaboratively with the Youth director, the Jr. High Director, and the Director of Music Ministries to ensure a cohesive approach to our children and youth ministries. He/she will follow all the guidelines adopted by the church for Safe Sanctuary.

The AC Director will work intentionally with adult volunteers who can provide leadership and relationships with our Adventure Club. He/she will meet every six months with the pastor to establish and review goals.

The AC director is expected to worship each Sunday morning at one of our services.
