Youth Ministries

  • We will emphasize ministry to children, youth, young adults, and their families.
  • We will be a warm, safe place to gather everyone into the family of Jesus Christ.
  • We will provide opportunities that utilize small groups for spiritual growth, outreach, and service-oriented activities.

These words from our Vision Statement emphasize our commitment to children and are the guiding principles for all of our children's programming.  

 SCUMC offers a wide range of children's programming. 

Youth (Grades 9-12)

The Senior High youth meet on Wednesday evenings after church dinner for a time of music, fun, fellowship, games and study. Call the church office or Mr. Rob Streeck with any questions. 

Jr High(Grades 7 & 8)

Jr. High meets on Sunday evenings at 4:30-6:00 and Wednesday evenings 6:30-7:30 (FEARLESS).  All Jr. High youth (7-8 graders) are invited. Don’t forget to bring a friend!  Mr. Bruce Thompson leads Sunday School and Wednesday evenings. Pastor Juliet leads FEARLESS on Wednesday nights.


Adventure Club (Grades 4-6)

It is a place to have organized activities for young people that are between young children and teens (grades 4-6). Activities include fellowship as well as chances to serve others. They meet Sundays 4:30-6:00 p.m. with Children's Choir from 4:00-4:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. Call Pastor Juliet with any questions.
