St. Charles United Methodist Church in Destrehan, Louisiana is:

NURSERY: A nursery for ages infant – 4 years old is available during Sunday morning worship and during Sunday School. Our nursery is in the Main Building, down the hall from the church office.
The Ironmen meet at 6:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room each week. 
  • Pumpkin Patch Sign Up -  Sign Up continues today!!!   Choose a time to be a living advertisement for our church, earn money for missions without leaving the church grounds, and have fun all at the same time.
  • Craft Fair- October 11th!  Crafters are still needed. Invite a neighbor!  Shop while your children enjoy finger painting, balloon fun and face painting. Applications available in church office or on the website.
  • Kairos- Begin baking your cookies:  many are needed for our 7 team members  Donations by check or pay pal accepted, as each team member needs $225.00 to cover the weekend.  Prayer times are also available for sign up in the Narthex. 
FIRST UNITED METHODIST: In Laplace, 301 Bamboo Road,  is having a Dinner and Movie Night on Sunday, November 2nd.  Jambalaya Dinner starts at 5:00 p.m. and then the movie, “God’s Not Dead” will start at 6:00 p.m.  This event is Free and Open to the Public, however you need to RSVP by October 26th.  Please call 985-652-6560 for reservations!!!
