Purpose
Our Children's Day Out Preschool was established in January of 1990 as a ministry of St. Charles United Methodist Church.
Each child is a gift of God with special abilities and talents. We strive to guide each child's development of his/her physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual needs in a loving environment in order for each child to be developed to their fullest potential for the work of God's Kingdom.
2025-2026 School Year 9am-1:40pm
Dreamers 1-Year-Old Class: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday - $515/month
Dreamers 1-Year-Old Class: Tuesday & Thursday - $350/month
Explorers and Voyagers 2-Year-Old Class: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday - $480/month
Explorers and Voyagers 2-Year-Old Class: Tuesday & Thursday - $330/month
Adventurers 3-Year-Old Class: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday - $465/month
Adventurers 3-Year-Old Class: Tuesday & Thursday - $325/month
Globe Trotters 3 or 4-Year-Old Class: Monday through Friday - 9 am -1:40 pm - $600/month
Monday through Friday options available for 1-year and 2-year-old students upon request, pending enrollment numbers.

Curriculum
Our CDO curriculum is theme-based and each teacher customizes the lessons to fit their class needs and structure. We have special guests and activities to enhance learning in each theme. Weekly Spiritual Teachings from Orange First Look Curriculum. Additional enrichments offered including Speech Therapy, Mini Maestros Music & Movement, and Art.

Classes begin the Tuesday after Labor Day.
2 to 4-year-olds are placed using the St. Charles Parish School System’s guidelines (Sept 30 birthday cut off date) and are encouraged to be potty-trained.
Special Events
We are excited for the chance to host special events that can take place face-to-face with our families again! Some of the things we like to do include: Weekly Chapel, Christmas Program, Class Holiday Parties, Picnics, Ice Cream Social, Trick-or-Treating in the Round, Krewe of 4's Parade, Donuts for Dad, Muffins with Mom, Easter Egg Hunt, Outdoor Water Fun Day.
